ASHEVILLE MATERNITY & NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHER

adoring wife, mother of three, lover of simplicity, aesthetics, organization, & craft cocktails.

I’m the mother of three who takes 10 minutes to get ready, consumes multiple cups of coffee, thinks I have everything under control, and waits for 5:00 to hit so I can pour a glass of wine… unless it’s a gin & tonic kind of day.

Here’s the thing: I’m an imperfect mother constantly striving for perfection. I desperately want to be the “put together” mom who bakes bread daily, never raises my voice, and is always on time- but I’m not. Frankly, I don’t believe the perfect mother exists and I don’t want to document a fake version of your motherhood…

BUT, I do want to photograph your motherhood in a beautiful way. I want you to have photographic memories of your kids snuggled up to you, of you laughing with your family, playing with your kids, looking stunning in that glam dress when your 35 weeks pregnant. I don’t believe those are disingenuous, I believe these are real and genuine moments that occur behind closed doors when no one is around.

Having joy filled portraits of my children on my wall is exactly what I need to see on those hard, chaotic, never-ending days. You know the days!

Even if you’re currently expecting your first child and haven’t quite experienced it yet, I’m sure you’ve still experienced hard moments of waiting, of the unknown, of preparing for all the things.

Parenting is hard. Motherhood is hard! But it’s crazy beautiful and every moment deserves to be remembered. Whether you want to get dressed up and have something creatively planned in my studio or you want to keep things relaxed and invite me into your home- let’s create beautiful, joy-filled, nostalgic memories in a simple, stylish, and timeless way.

There is beauty in motherhood. Allow me to turn yours into sentimental works of art.

my heart

the sweetness of nostalgia

As you look at the baby albums and your walls adorned with photos, it brings back the heart aching joy of becoming a parent, time and time again.
Printed photographs bring a sense of belonging to our children. Photographs say, " you are loved, you are valued, you are home." One day, your kids will thank you for the printed memories.
