After you fill out my inquiry form, I will text you within 24 hours and ask questions to get to know you, your family, and your photography desires better.
If a phone call serves you well, we'll schedule that to answer all of your questions and begin dreaming up your ideal family session.
Once the contract is signed and the artist fee is paid, we will set a date, plan outfits, prep the littles, and get super giddy in anticipation.

My planning process is based on your preferences. Some clients love the hands on approach while others already have an idea of everything they want.
Regardless, you will have the option to facetime with me or have me come over and look through your closets to find outfits that are flattering, colors that compliment one another and the home, and fit each child's personality. We always start with mom.
We also use this time to discuss every other little detail; time, kids, hair, makeup, sentimental items, etc.
All of my sessions take place in the morning; kids are happiest in the morning, the light is lovely, & you have the remainder of your day to proceed as you desire.
My newborn sessions are always around two hours. We take our time, follow baby's lead, make time to feed, etc.
My family sessions are relaxed and filled with life. We can plan a fun activity or just go with the flow and let the kids be kids.
We'll use the spaces with the best light, as I primarily use film. We can even go outside. Expect snuggles, laughter, games, and affection.
3. the session
If the film processing is on time then you'll have your images to review within two weeks. You'll enjoy a slideshow of the best images and from there, you can purchase whatever you desire. From digitals, to albums, and matted prints to DIY and frame yourself (or have me frame for you).
I accept credit and debit payments. I'm always happy to create payment plans and we can even begin one when you book me for the heirloom you think you're most interested in.
4. photo delivery
Most products take roughly 4-6 weeks to be designed and shipped. If you purchase on your own, you'll have a tracking label. If you choose for me to create your product then I will deliver all products by hand within 1 hour of Asheville.
I strongly encourage all of my clients to print their images for their families to enjoy. Never trust your i-cloud, hard-drive, or any other technology. I provide prints because photos are meant to be physically enjoyed, not lost or forgotten. Especially when you're investing in professional photography.
5. your heirlooms
I can work with anyone; whether a loved one has a disability and you're nervous about the how, when, where kind of details. Or perhaps you have a little one with the wild energy, tends to cry a lot, or maybe is shy. Regardless of the personality type, circumstances, or what have you, I am always willing to make a game plan, prepare thoroughly, and ensure an enjoyable session filled with loving photographs!
