There is something so breathtaking about a pregnant woman. We’ve all heard it said before, “you’re glowing!” Maybe it’s all of the hormones that create this halo of beauty. Whatever it is, I love it. Every time I see a pregnant woman I think… “maybe, I need one more baby…”
However, if you’ve been pregnant before then we can agree that while pregnant, it’s rarely a feeling of “glowing” or beauty. There is a tendency to feel big, uncomfortable, and far from sexy.
We try on outfit after outfit, dismissing them all. Our hair is changing, our skin is changing, and we simply feel gross. By the time the third trimester starts, it’s common to want pregnancy to come to an end immediately.
No matter how far you feel from it, this season of motherhood is worth documenting. It’s my job to make you feel how beautiful you are because one day you’ll want to reflect and remember that growing belly filled with the life you once whispered sweet nothings to.
When you book with Lauren Sosler Photography, we’ll discuss your ideal maternity session in the Asheville area; an intimate studio, or a classic outdoor maternity session in Asheville or a Black Mountain. You’ll have your hair and makeup professionally done, you’ll wear one of my maternity dresses, whichever one makes you feel confident and comfortable, and then we’ll laugh and have fun photographing this season of motherhood.
After our time together you’ll have beautiful Asheville maternity photos to savor forever. I include digitals in all of my packages but you will have the opportunity to purchase framed prints, an album, and other heirlooms.

This Mama had a sweet toddler who did not want to be photographed. She was sad and tired. It was my job to create a relaxing environment where I encouraged the parents to snuggle their little love and just care for her. I documented the beauty of motherhood, in all of its true-to-life glory! Remembering this season is worth it. Entrust me to document your growing family.
