As a Biltmore Estate expert, I make the best choice as your Biltmore Family Photographer. Whether you want me to plan your maternity, outdoor newborn, or family session, I know the inner secrets of how to have the greatest Biltmore experience. Including the best times to visit and the best places to photograph your session.
The Biltmore is stunning and there are acres of land with various backdrops to choose from. I can curate a romantic garden session, take you somewhere more secluded and green, or we can take a stroll amongst the backdrop of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Just because you choose to have a Biltmore Photography session does not mean we have to use the house, however, I do have a few suggestions on where to go for some dreamy castle backdrop portraits.
The Planning
I always suggest purchasing the garden and grounds tickets (free for kids). These tickets allow you to enter the property any time and you can venture throughout the entire estate all day long. If you have young children, you should plan to make a day of it. We can plan a morning session and then you can take the kids to the petting zoo, the playground, walk around the gardens or the lakes, and then enjoy a wonderful meal. If you prefer a sunset session then we’ll plan to meet at least one hour before the sun sets. I’ll plan a beautiful session and then you can head to the winery and enjoy watching the sun set.
My goal as your Biltmore Family Photographer is to provide a stress free and enjoyable experience. I’ll create a comfortable atmosphere to photograph genuine moments of connection. I want to make your heart swoon when you look back at the portraits we create at The Biltmore together.
