Your Lifestyle Newborn Session Experience
As an Asheville newborn photographer, I want your lifestyle newborn session to be stress-free, relaxed, and feel intimate. Documenting your family in your own space where you feel comfortable and at peace is one of my favorite aspects of an in-home newborn session.
Trust me, I know that newborn mom life and how challenging it can be! My goal is to make the whole process easy for you! It’s my hope that during your newborn session with me, you can simply soak in these moments and love on your sweet baby while I document every tiny detail.
My work is simple, clean, and timeless. I’m a hybrid photographer meaning I shoot both digital and film images during my sessions.
What’s Included with Your Newborn Session
I will help you prepare for our newborn session before your baby is born so that you don’t have to worry about the details after baby’s arrival!
Lifestyle newborn sessions include everything that you and your baby may need- from swaddles to a Client Wardrobe full of dresses that will help you feel as beautiful as you look. Personalized styling for your spouse and any siblings is included.
I have hand-selected dresses that will help make you feel confident and comfortable in your new postpartum body. Plus, you’ll receive some complimentary pampering from my hair and makeup artist as you get ready for your session!
The Process
My lifestyle newborn sessions are full service- meaning all you have to do is choose a date for my arrival and I’ll take care of the rest of the details. I even treat you to coffee and a pastry from a local Asheville cafe!
Sessions are scheduled based on your comfort level after birth.
During the session, I set up a small studio space for the baby portraits. We’ll also use the master bedroom, living room, and/or outdoor areas for portraits with the whole family.
Shortly after, you’ll receive a sneak peek of your newborn session to share with family and friends. You can also use these photos for your custom birth announcements I offer! All full galleries are ready within three weeks. Custom-designed, heirloom products like framed prints and albums are ready within eight weeks.
I truly believe your images deserve to be printed, rather than sit on a hard drive so that your family can enjoy them for generations.
From Womb to Walking Membership
My most popular package for those booking a lifestyle newborn session in the Asheville area is the Womb to Walking Membership. It’s the best way to document every little detail of your baby’s first year of life.
As a Member, you get to choose four sessions: maternity, lifestyle newborn, and two milestone family sessions during the sitter and one-year stages. Or mix and match if you prefer an 18-month session rather than maternity! I encourage extended family like grandparents to join you for the one-year milestone session- that makes it so special!
